This policy explains what the Paragn Network app ("Paragn", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. It is a plain-language summary and may be updated as the app evolves. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account details — when you sign in with Apple, email, or Discord, we store the identifier and email associated with that method.
- Content you add — inventory items, prices, expenses, notes, alert keywords and other data you enter to use the app's features.
- Connected accounts — if you link eBay, an email inbox, or other marketplaces, we store the access credentials encrypted and use them only to perform the actions you request (e.g. listing an item, importing orders).
- Location — only if you tap "Near me" on the store map, and only while the app is open. Your coordinates are used on your device to sort nearby stores by distance; we do not store them or send them to our servers.
- Financial records you import — if you use the tax report or bank reconciliation tools, the figures and statement rows you import are stored so those reports work.
- Diagnostics — if the app crashes we send the error, the app version and your account id and username to our crash-reporting provider so we can fix it. We deliberately exclude your email address.
- Device & notifications — a push token so we can send the alerts you opt into, and basic technical data needed to run the service.
How we use it
- To provide the app's core features — inventory tracking, analytics, alerts, and marketplace integrations.
- To send push notifications you have enabled (drops, restocks, personal keyword pingers).
- To keep the service secure and diagnose problems.
We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
We share data only with the services required to run the app — Apple Push Notification service and Expo (notifications), Sentry (crash diagnostics), and the marketplaces or inboxes you choose to connect (such as eBay). Each receives only what is needed for that function. We also query third-party pricing services to show market values; those requests contain the product being looked up, not your identity. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Storage & security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure. Connected-account tokens are encrypted at rest. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices & rights
- Delete your account at any time from Account → Settings, which removes your data from our systems.
- Disconnect any linked marketplace or inbox at any time, which deletes the stored credentials.
- Control notifications from the app's notification settings or your device settings.
Children
Paragn is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
